Policies & Governance
Access our core club policies, from on-court safety and player conduct to our official constitution. We follow best practice to ensure that we are a welcoming, safe and open place to play our sport.
What we expect of our players
-
Zero Tolerance Policy: Our standards for behaviour, mixing in with others, and respecting our volunteer organizers.
-
Club Safety Rules: Practical measures for before, during, and after play.
-
Player Code of Conduct: The Badminton England standards that all registered players agree to uphold.
How we look after our players
-
Safeguarding and Protecting Young People in Badminton (Badminton England recommended). Should you have any welfare concerns, please contact our Welfare Officer.
We also conduct risk assessments for our sessions, and various committee members have been trained in first aid, safeguarding or have Badminton England coaching qualifications.
How our club is run
-
Club Constitution: The foundational document that defines our goals and structure.
-
AGM: Our Annual General Meeting is where the club’s membership has its say on how the club is run.
